As LT walked to the podium he was assaulted by a barrage of questions.
LT was that the biggest disgrace you have ever been a part of?
Will the New York Football Giants be able to recover from that late season slide?
Will Phil Simms ever be the same again?
Do you think the NYG have been Sullied long enough?
LT I thought the entire D was supposed to show up?
LT stood silent until the questions died down.
I have something to say first and I will tell you when you are allowed to ask me questions he shouted.
First off, I AM the entire D and secondly, yes, I do believe that the NYG have been sullied for far too long. The offensive and defensive play calling last season was horrendous. There was no support for our players when we struggled, it was one of the most sickening things I have been a part of.
LT found it hard to fight back the tears while recalling a dreadful season.
It was easy to tell LT was very emotional on this day. He had never felt what it was like to lose before, so you have to bare with him. When all you do is win win win your entire life no matter what you do from football to playing monopoly to rock, paper, scissors its really tough to swallow that first loss.
I vow(nearly breaking down)to never let anything like that happen again.LT is here to promise that the NYG will not repeat that terrible season. LT is here to guarentee that the New York Football Giants will be the Regular season champs at 10-0 and will host and win the Tecmo Bowl VII.
Immediately following our pathetic loss to the 49ers, where our D-coordinator refused to stick with the game plan and call pass 1, I went and fired his candy ass. Then I layed the smack down on the rest of the front office. We now have totally new management, and I am the Defensive Play Caller along with Pepper Johnson.
Our new GM has vowed to do things a different way. As soon as I saw his Masters in Run Calling from CRU I knew this guy was for real. I hear only 2 people other than me in the entire World have one of those.
Then he told me his strategy of choosing to use me a ton and how he will support all of our players. By the end of the interview I was convinced there was going to be a quick turn around for the NYG.
A very optomistic LT already had the board induct their upcoming season into the HOF of great seasons.
I had a meeting with our players and everyone agreed from Banks down to Marshall that will have a better season and we will teach this league the meaning of Dominate.
Aside from the teams goals I also guarantee I will be the biggest Tecmo Maniac of all time. I will be very disappointed if teams score any points on us, Period.
You heard it here first, LT will be a Maniac.
Now if any of you chumps have any questions, lets hear them.
LT, we know your defence is the most solid unit in worlds history, but what about the O, can they rebound?
Let me answer that with 2 words: Phil Simms
Yes we are aware you have Phil Simms but he threw many picks last year and.
LT, clearly becoming very angry cut off the reporter and shouted a memorable statement:
Phil Simms is the Man. Phil Simms will not make mistakes, Phil Simms can not make mistakes and Phil Simms Will not make mistakes. Out of all our troubles last season the one thing that bothered me the most was how management got very down on Phil. Let me tell you this, Phil Simms did not cost us a single game last year, nor has he ever. The Play calling on O was terrible and not even he could overcome it. Then when he did have a less than spectacular game everyone outside of our players tried to make him the goat and blame him for the loss. He could not go anywhere for support. That is something that I can assure you will not happen this season. Simms will get the job done like he always gets the job done. If anyone says one more bad thing about Phil Simms I will clothesline their head off.
 LT says to expect to see alot more of that in this coming season.
LT the over under for points you will give up this season has been set at -18.5, isnt that some high expectations?
No. Anyone in the know will be taking under.
Who else are you expecting the step up to help the D this season?
Well I expect everyone to have nothing but their finest season. In particular I look for Marshall to really shine whenever we play the 49ers. I know he gets more playing time then and he has been waiting for a chance to break out, and I also heard just before I got here that its a contract year for him.
Marshall will be out head hunting on Joe Montana.
You seem pretty confident, do you think anyone can stop you?
I know that no one can. Thats just the way it is. We are the Fucking Giants for god sake, and we own you and every other team in the league.
And most importantly we own Tecmo Bowl VII!

The first game in 6 months just got played. There was a shamefully long layoff from June 14th to now. Fittingly I won the first game. A close battle ending 6-3 with Cleveland beating Seattle. This was a messy game with lots of errors, we showed our rust. Cleveland was the Fav so im happy i didnt choke.
